Everything since launch (Oct 5 to Oct 9, 2026)

Hi everyone! Here's everything that got easier and more reliable in Dossier Audio since it opened on October 5. I'll post one of these every Friday.

We hear you: fixed in response to your feedback

Thank you to everyone who tried Dossier and told me what to fix. These came straight from your messages.

Tap a word, hear it. In a new dossier, tap any word in the transcript and the episode plays from right there.
Room for long episodes. Long interviews and deep dives work now too.
One link to invite friends. Invite friends now gives you a single link you can drop into a group chat.
More pasted links work. Pasting an episode link works in many more cases now.
No more empty chapters. Every chapter now has something in it.
Clear away unfinished dossiers. Dossiers that didn't finish used to stay in your library. You can now clear them away.

Search for an episode by name or paste its link into the same box, even straight from your phone's share menu.

When I approve your account, the waiting screen takes you right into Dossier.

Fixed an issue where an ad break could be split across two chapters. Ad breaks now sit cleanly inside one chapter.
Fixed an issue where the wait screen could keep spinning after a dropped connection.

Tell me what to fix next from Send feedback in the account menu. See you next Friday!
